If you went into the dictionary and looked up zest and optimism you would find a picture of Laila. She brings her glowing personality to every GEM meeting, making myself and her GEM sisters smile. She shows grit in maintaining an average of nearly 100 during online learning and will be graduating this month with a G.P.A of 3.9. Laila has shown up as her best self through discovery and difficult times. She asks great questions to ensure she is always presenting her best work.
